Princess Diana's funeral

On September 6th, 1997 Britain and the world said farewell to Diana, Princess of Wales, after a week of mourning.

In remembrance of the event we have created a poster of the sky, showing the stars and planets as they were over Westminster Abbey during the Princess' funeral.

Martin Luther King, Jr.'s speech "I Have a Dream"

Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered his "I Have a Dream" speech on August 28, 1963 from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, to an audience of over 250,000. It was a key moment of the American Civil Rights Movement: "I have a dream, that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream today!".

Nelson Mandela is released from prison

After being incarcerated for 27 years Nelson Mandela was released from Victor Verster Prison on the afternoon of February 11th, 1990. After leading the negotiations that culminated with the abolition of aparheid he won the first multiracial elections in 1994.

He was awarded the 1993 Nobel Peace Price.
